Deryn Collier Technical Communications (DCTC) collaborated with a regional healthcare facility to develop a comprehensive Orientation Manual for newly recruited physicians, locums, and medical residents. The goal of the finished document was to support the integration of new medical staff into the facility’s community and operations.<\/p>\n

The client asked DCTC to create a professionally written and formatted PDF Manual that captured the expertise of medical staff, leveraged existing data and communications systems, and collated technical information from various hospital departments. The manual was designed to be a “living document,” continuously updated and improved to meet the evolving needs of the facility.<\/p>\n

Three years after completion, the manual is regularly updated and actively used, and has been used as a model document for other facilities in the region.<\/p>\n
